Why Locals Love La Cascada
La Cascada invites you to indulge in an authentic Mexican and Latin American seafood experience right in the heart of Fontana, CA. Nestled at 14832 Valley Blvd, this vibrant restaurant masterfully blends traditional flavors with fresh, high-quality ingredients, offering a culinary journey that delights both the palate and the soul.
Step inside La Cascada and you are immediately embraced by a warm and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of a lively Mexican home filled with laughter and vibrant conversation. The staff’s genuine hospitality elevates the dining experience, making every visit feel like a special occasion.
The menu is a celebration of coastal Mexican cuisine, showcasing the freshest seafood selections and classic Latin American favorites. Diners rave about the Camarones A La Diabla, where eight large shrimp simmer in a bold, fiery devil sauce, perfectly balanced by the cool slices of avocado, fresh tomato, onion, and a hint of citrus from orange wedges. For those craving a seafood medley, the 8 Camarones, Pulpo y Abulon combines succulent shrimp, tender octopus, and abalone into an indulgent dish layered with oceanic richness.
Not to be missed are the Brocheta De Camaron, skewered shrimp grilled alongside vibrant tomato, onion, and chile, served with fluffy rice and a uniquely creamy homemade potato salad. If garlic butter sauce makes your heart sing, the Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo dazzles with shrimp gently simmered in a fragrant butter and garlic blend, echoing traditional coastal flavors.
Warm your spirit with a bowl of Siete Mares, a piping hot seafood stew brimming with abalone, halibut, shrimp, crab legs, octopus, clam, and scallops — a true oceanic feast in broth form. For soup lovers, the Caldo De Camaron offers a slightly spicy, comforting shrimp soup featuring whole shell-on shrimp stewed to perfection, while the classic Caldo De Pescado delivers savory halibut in a subtly spicy red broth.
Beyond the exquisite menu, La Cascada’s charm lies within its homemade tortillas, praised repeatedly for their fresh, soft texture and buttery flavor — a testament to traditional craftsmanship rarely found in chain restaurants. Customers like Jose Mendez and Rick consistently highlight this as a signature touch, underscoring the authenticity and care poured into each dish.
Longtime visitors such as Gustavo Garcia appreciate the “home feel” of the restaurant, where everything is cooked to order, and the flavors taste like they come straight from abuela’s kitchen. The fresh ingredients and flavorful preparations make every bite comfort food elevated to an art form.
La Cascada is more than just a meal; it’s a celebration of heritage, community, and passion for genuine Mexican and Latin seafood cuisine. Whether you’re craving fiery shrimp dishes, hearty seafood stews, or the simple pleasure of hand-pressed tortillas with carne asada, this Fontana gem delivers a soulful, delectable experience you won’t forget.
For anyone seeking true Mexican flavor paired with exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere, La Cascada is an essential destination worth visiting again and again.

The most delicious, authentic Mexican dishes you can find — from street tacos and chilaquiles to huevos a la mexicana and more. The food is flavorful and fresh, the customer service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great, quick, and affordable bite!

The corn tortillas are off the chain. Carne asada great. I think they use fuerte avocados so they have a buttery taste. Well worth the price.. beer cold

Wowsers!!! This is my All-Time Favorite Mexican Restaurant in all the 48 states that I have visited. This is run by a really nice Mexican Family, and I am sure using some of the best handed down recipes that have been perfected over many years! I have found a few pics of my favorite dishes I would always get, and I will add more once I can find them. They are in Fontana, CA, right about a mile off of the I-10. Parking is very limited, but, I normally always found a place to park, even though I am in an 18 Wheeled Car! Eunice was my normal waitress, and I can't remember the names of the rest at the time I was going there, but Eunice was the daughter, of the family run business. Hope I am spelling her name correct. I am sure she is still working hard to bring the hungry people who come in for the Absolute Best Mexican Food available, and I have tried Mexican food in many different states, and I can tell you without any doubt, La Cascada is Simply The Best! Period, Bar None! Once you try it, you will be a Loyal Fan For Life! The negative for me, is they serve soda in cans, so there is no free refills, however, the service is good, the Food is Amazing, so, that does not bother me too much... PS I will add more images when I find them, as I had several favorites, and I am not seeing my Caldo Siete Mares right now. Also, their homemade tortillas are Awesome!
